Tepatitlan means ¨Place of hard stones¨ due to its location, and it comes from the Nahuatl language. It is located in the central of the state of Jalisco.
Some examples of touristic and historical places in this city are the San Francisco Church, which has been renewed in the 20 century, the city museum located on a building from the beginning of the century you can find any documents from the revolution and other objects, a Japanese garden with a great variety of plants along with a cactus museum is also located here.
