- Who is driving the car?
Your car will be driven by one of our long time trusted drivers. Your driver will navigate you safely through the demanding traffic in Mexico City so you can relax, lean back and enjoy the ride.
- Can I drive the car?
Unfortunately not. The traffic in Mexico City is quite different to anywhere else and demanding. For safety reasons you will not be allowed to drive the car yourself, but even in the passenger seat you can enjoy a unique experience.
- I am not comfortable with driving in a big city by myself, can I still participate?
Absolutely. One of our long time trusted drivers will take care of you and navigate you safely through the demanding traffic of Mexico City. You can just get in the car, lean back and enjoy the ride.
- Do you have wheelchair options?
Unfortunately not. We could offer you some of our other tours instead so you do not miss out on all the great things Mexico City has to offer. How about a classic Lucha Libre or a day trip to the stunning pyramids in Teotihuacan?
- Is there an age limit to participate?
Mexico City is exciting and diverse and holds a lot of opportunities. This is why this tour is suitable for every age.
- Do you have options for children (child seat)?
Unfortunately not, but we can offer you some activities that will be a better fit for time with your family and kids. For example a daytrip to the fascinating Teotihuacan Pyramids.
- I have dietary restrictions – can you still accommodate me?
Yes, absolutely. Please let us know your restrictions and we can coordinate with the restaurants in order to make your day with us easy and pleasurable. Let us know and send an email to email@example.com
- Do I need to participate in all activities?
Unless all persons in your Beetle agree to avoid any activity you need to participate in all of them. But don’t worry – with participation in all activities you will get a broad insight in Mexico City and you and the other passengers will have a great time exploring them in a fun way.
- Is the schedule flexible?
The schedule is designed to give you as much impressions as possible on our beautiful city in one day. Therefore we try to stick to the schedule as much as possible. If you wish for another schedule or activities let us know and send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we gladly modify your unique journey.
- When is the best time to take the tour?
You can take our tour all year round. The temperature in Mexico City is comfortable year round to be outside and makes a visit always pleasurable.
- Do we need to tip the driver?
You are not required to tip your driver although any tip is greatly appreciated by them.
- What is included? What is not included?
In your tour will be included the transportation from the pick-up at the hotel until the drop-off at the hotel in a classic VW Beetle Sedan. A bilingual tour guide in English will walk you through the Historic Downtown, where you can admire the Zocalo and enter the Metropolitan Cathedral of Mexico City, the Templo Mayor and the National Palace. Moreover the entrance fee to the famous Anthropology Museum is included as well.
- How many travelers are on the tour?
We ride with 4 Beetle Cars per tour. This will keep the group size to a maximum of 12 people to make sure you can enjoy your day to a maximum.
- How much free time will we have on the tour?
The tour takes 8 hours in total. You will have some free time during the day, but please make sure to return on time to the meeting point to make the journey pleasurable for all participants.
- How much money should I bring with me on the tour?
All tours and tickets are included, it is recommended to bring money for food and drinks, around $30 per person, this is a suggestion but there will be options for every budget.
- Are there any student or senior discounts?
Our prices are the same for everyone – there is no student or senior discount.
- What toilet facilities are available?
Throughout the tour we will have various opportunities for a short stop. The museums and restaurants that we are visiting all have toilet facilities.
- Will I have a guided tour at the Anthropology Museum?
We include only the entrance fee to the Museum. Once inside you can hire your personal guides in your preferred language or rent an electronic device that guides your through the exhibition.
- What food options are included? Where? When?
We will take you to the famous La Cantina la Opera. Here you can choose from a variety of Mexican and International Dishes. Lunch at the Cantina will be approximately at around 2 pm. The food however is not included in our tour.
- Can I give this as a present to a friend?
Of course – there is nothing better than giving your friend a unique memory. At the time of purchase we only need the data of the person that will receive the present. Of course we will not contact that person if you wish to make it a surprise.
- How can I change my purchase?
You can cancel or change your purchase up to 48hrs before the activity itself. You can still change the name of the participant at the same day as the tour. If you wish to change the beneficiary please provide us with the reservation number, name, email address and telephone number to make the change.
- How can I be sure the purchase was successful?
By giving our customer service staff your reservation number and name and our staff will be happy to assist you and confirm your purchase.
- Can I request the return of a purchase after the expiry date?
Once a tour was already conducted you cannot request a refund of your purchase.
- How can I find out about the availability of the tour?
You can see the availability on our website when booking the requested date.
- When will you charge me for the purchase?
The charge for you purchase is made automatically, sometimes it takes 48 hrs to show on your statement account. If you change your mind you can cancel 48 hrs before the tour and the money back.
- Is it necessary to bring a printed confirmation?
No – upon arrival of your car you only need to tell us your name and confirmation number.
- I do not have PayPal or a credit card, is there another method to book your tour?
Yes, you can transfer the money for the tour electronically to our account, conntact our staff to help you.
- I will participate with a companion. Where can I indicate their name?
If you go with a friend or in a group we only need one name to make the reservation. If the person indicated in the confirmation is not able to participate, let us know the name of the representative, the confirmation number and email to change your reservation.
- With what credit cards can I pay for the activities?
We accept all major credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD and American Express) as well as PayPal to make your purchase.
- What happens if I arrive late for an activity?
We know how difficult it can be to be exactly on time in Mexico City. This is why you have 30 minutes of tolerance before we will consider a “No Show”. If these 30 minutes are up there will be no refunds as it is considered as No Show.
- Where and when is the meeting point to start this tour?
We will pick you up directly at your hotel. It is important that you indicate the name of your hotel in Special Requirements in the form of reservation. If you do not have a hotel yet or if it is not indicated in your reservation form, you can coordinate with us via email 48 hrs in advance.
