You will be amazed by the size of the city from the moment you arrive. Meet and greet with a local representative and transfer to your hotel.
Today you have the whole day to explore Mexico City. We suggest starting your day in the historical downtown, listed by UNESCO as World Heritage. Make sure you don´t miss the beautiful Paseo de la Reforma Avenue, with the iconic Monument for the Independence ("El Angel"). Reforma Avenue leads you to Chapultepec Park. In pre-Hispanic times a summer residence for the noble class of the Aztecs, now it is Mexico City’s largest park and one of the largest city parks in the world. Here you can find the Museum of Anthropology. Alternatively, you could visit the astonishing pyramids of Teotihuacan and the Shrine of Guadalupe, or take a trip through the colorful canals of Xochimilco on a traditional "trajinera". Another option is Coyoacan, a beautiful and tranquil district, with colonial architecture and “La Casa Azul”, the famous house/museum of the modernist Frida Kahlo. If you want to make sure you won´t miss the must-see-places, or if you want to discover some hidden spots, please contact us for Mexico City´s most exciting tours. Included: Breakfast
Today you leave the big city behind. Now the real adventure starts. Pick up in the morning for a transfer to the “Terminal Del Norte". Board a first class bus to San Miguel de Allende, a city that played a key role in the War of Independence of Mexico. The bus trip will take approximately 4 hrs. For its cultural and artistic diversity, stunning baroque architecture and remarkable authenticity, this town earned the status of World Heritage Site. Upon, take a cab to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Included: Breakfast
Explore San Miguel and its well-preserved historic center, where you could visit the famous “Parish of San Miguel”, the iconic church with the pink, sugar-candy pointing towers. These bizarre towers were designed by an untutored Indian, Zeferino Gutierrez, in the late 19th century. In the main chapel you will see the much revered image of the Cristo de la Conquista, made by Indians in Patzcuaro from cornstalks and orchid bulbs in the 16th century. We recommend a visit to the Allende House Museum and the Casa del Conde de la Canal, a building with a unique carved wood door. Also take some time to shop, as this town is known for its crafts and art galleries. Included: Breakfast
Take a bus to Guanajuato (approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival time at leisure for enjoying this charming city. You will be surprised by its beauty, with its winding lanes, its plazuelas shaded by Indian laurels, its large variety of decorative styles, its Mummy Museum, and its curious underground avenue. With its history as an important mining center, it derived great wealth from its abundant silver deposits. The city is a true jewel among Mexico’s colonial cities. We recommend visiting the Hidalgo market, Juarez Theater, the University, the “Alley of the Kiss” and the monument of El Pipila, a hero of the Independence. Also, discover how the city is full of old legends. Included: Breakfast
Board a first class bus for a four-hour journey (approx.) to Guadalajara, Mexico’s second-largest city and home of many of Mexico’s most beloved traditions. Tours Reviews

  • "Great tour with many highlights! "
My family and I wanted to explore Central Mexico after spending some days in the Riviera Maya. This tour is a great combination of visiting colonial cities and the vibrant larger towns of Mexico. Hotels and breakfast were aboslutely okay. The distances travelled by bus are not that long and buses are quite convenient, so don´t worry about spending a lot of time in bus.
